The races at the Brickyard many years ago  took the better part of the whole day, not just a few hours to run like todays times.  It might be fun to see an Indy 1500 and then we would see who had the best oil, the best engines, the toughest driver and the one with the strongest back.  I think the people would have a great time and eat a lot of food and even pay a little more for the seats....just a thought.
